making progress

left front and back
I finished the left front of my Karin cardi today- yay!
I've had to adapt the shaping a little to accommodate my womanly figure, but as long as I make the right front the mirror image of the left then everything will be fine.

East Lothian Council held an Multi-faith blessing service tonight at St Mary's Kirk, Haddington for the Council, the Councillors, the employees and the service users led by the General Secretary of the Edinburgh Inter- Faith Association.

We heard from representatives from the Church of the Scotland, the Hebrew Congregation, the Roman Catholic Church, the Baha'i community, the Humanist society, the Hindu community, the Muslim community, the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Sikh community. It was fascinating to hear English, Hebrew, Arabic, and Sanskrit all giving the same message of peace and shared humanity.

What was also good was to see all these faith leaders working so well together, their mutual respect and ease in each other's company and the fact that they were sharing cars to get back home. If only this could be replicated globally!
