O Canada!

I got a lovely parcel from my secret sister Laura in Canada today.

There's some scrummy, soft cotton yarn, lovely fresh soap, a two year diary, a cute notebook, a tin of safety of pins, two Ontario SPCA fridge magnets and a pooch scarf for Megan.

Megan has never had accessories before and she looks very classy in the pretty reversible scarf.

Laura works at an animal shelter and has a lot of well cared for pets herself. Her dog Annie is a Newfoundland and enjoys frolicking about in water even more than Megan does.

Funnily enough I was just putting a parcel together to go to Canada when one arrived for me. The swaps are a lot of fun, great to receive and great to put together too.

I'm rattling along with the second Monkey, the leg is done and I'm on with the heel flap now. Just as well as the temperature has dropped to the more usual 16C (60F) and I'm back wearing socks again! The heat was lovely while it lasted............sigh
