with Annie Modesitt
I went to my first proper knitting workshop today, taken by the wonderful Annie Modesitt.
She is incredibly funny and should be part of the Edinburgh Fringe next year as a stand up comedian (well, Annie would sit down for her show I think). She was so witty and warm and I learnt an absolute ton about different cast on techniques, cast offs and professional seaming.
I thought it would be interesting but I didn't realise it would be so much fun! She truly is a teacher par excellence! I wish I could have got booked into more than one class- sigh.... maybe next year....
