want one

or even several!

my younger bruv is staying with us for a few days with his kids so we took them to East Links Farm Park today.

I don't know if the kids wanted to go, but I certainly did!
I love getting up close and personal with the goats, llamas, sheep and chickens, and this time I was entranced with the piglets and got to pet the deer and the baby llama. It was fantastic, I wish I could have smuggled one of them home!!

There's so much for the kids to do when I'm engrossed by these fab creatures, but I did manage to drag myself away from my wee furred and feathered friends for a while , and I had a ride on the gokarts, bounced on a trampoline, tried out the climbing wall and clambered about in the new fortress (it's full of rope nets and slides and rope swings, and has lots of ramps so that strollers and wheelchairs can go in too.) It was great fun!

Now I need to have a cup of tea, put my feet up and enjoy some knitting while I think about how I could smuggle a llama home without David noticing!
