Every Breath You Take

Ev'ry breath you take , ev'ry move you make,
ev'ry bond you break, ev'ry step you take
I'll be watching you.
Ev'ry single day, ev'ry word you say
evr'y game you play, evr'y night you stay,
I'll be watching you
words & music by Sting.
J1 & J2 played in Finlay's annual concert today & had chosen to do this as a duet, J1 on violin , and J2 on piano. I was so proud of them both. The first time J1 played at the concert, 6 or 7 years ago he was rigid with fear, but today he was relaxed, confident & composed. It was a pleasure to listen to them both.
The lyrics have such a different meaning as parents, we do watch everything they do, with love and pride, with concern, worry and sometimes anxiety, with exasperation and surprise and sometimes even bewilderment. Today it was with love and pride, with delight at their ability, with pleasure at them choosing to do a duet and choosing the music themselves.
J2 is having a great week, the P7 show, the P7 disco last night ( she won the prize for best dancer!), today's concert and then to top it all, she was allowed to go off on the bus with her pal to the Gala for an hour to go on the show rides without any parents there! Wow!
Then we were totally gripped by this weeks Doctor Who.. what a fantastic storyline.. what would have happened if Donna had never met the Doctor? The Doctor is killed by the Racnos, the Judoon kill Martha Jones, London is wiped out when the Titanic hits Buck House, the Adipose kill 60,000 US citizens, the Torchwood team have to destroy the Sontaran ship and are killed, it all goes horribly, horribly wrong. Rose has to come back to send Donna back in time to put things right. Badwolf is back! More next week!! I can't wait.

Lovely to hear about the childrens' concert. I'm glad it went well and it sounds like you (and everyone else) had a great time. I've just looked at the time you posted - was it half time during the match??
