Festival #1

D and I went to see Reginald D Hunter in the Udderbelly¹ at the Edinburgh Fringe tonight and were doubled up laughing.

As we were driving home we realised it is 14 years since we have seen any Fringe shows (other than the free street theatre on the Royal Mile)- that it is an appalling² admission when there is a wealth of entertainment in Edinburgh every August.

We have another show to see tomorrow night, but we must do better next year.

Note 1. The Udderbelly is a small theatre shaped like a purple inverted cow.
2. Mr Hunter knew he had been living too long in the UK when the word 'appalling' crept into his vocabulary. Funneh!
