colour me happy!

the postie brought me this fab knitting book, today- The Essential Guide to Colour Knitting Techniques by Margaret Radcliffe . It's like a college textbook it's so detailed and practical!

I think I'll find this very useful and it was "free" as I only paid £4.50 /$7.18 in postage costs (it was an offer from Let's Knit mag).

It's very cloudy and grey outside today- hardly any daylight at all just very autumnal and cool, but the flowers are still putting up a fight.

I saw this pretty nasturtium in my garden and there's a bud still trying to open. It made me happy too.

I'm making good progress on monkey two, the heel has been turned and the gusset set up. There's no footie on today as it's an international break and England don't play till Tues. There will be a lot of podcasts listened to today

Great looking book . . .I think I shall check eBay for a crochet version . . . I just LOVE books that show stitches.

A nice thing to find in the mail; so much nicer than bills! Looks like lots of colourwork ideas to brighten your fall and winter!
