Sadly this is a mismatch between the yarn and the pattern, and even though I'd changed needles to improve the evenness of the stitches it feels like a slog. So, they have gone to the frog pool and I'll take on something else instead!

| Monkey by cookie a from Knitty Winter 06 |
When I was walking the dog today I was looking at the falling leaves and the mix of colours and I decided to make myself another pair of Monkey socks by Cookie A. (the first pair was felted twice by D, and ended up as legwarmers for the dog!).
I will make a pair of Ricks I just need to find the right yarn for that pattern. I also need to find the right pattern for the zauberball. I could be lost on Ravelry for some time!!
I resisted the temptation to link to Rick Astley singing "never gonna give you up!" New found maturity? or laziness? not sure
