just been to see UP with D and both kids (yup cool 16 yo snuck out with us)

This is a wonderful film (Pixar always make such intelligent films, good storylines, great details.).

Everyone with kids should see it- everyone without kids should see it. It make me laugh till I cried and it made me cry (and the two males with me had lots of manly throat clearing too). Loved it.

Loved the footy today too- Sunderland were at home to Liverpool and I was hoping at best for a draw, but dagnabbit- we won!

Yes, we won with the help of a inflatable toy (a beach ball, not a balloon- if it had have been a balloon the coincidence would have been too much.).

Yes, Liverpool couldn't put Gerrard & Torres on the pitch, but let's face it they have a much bigger squad than us, a much more expensive squad than us, but they didn't trouble our keeper, whereas Reina still had to keep further attacks from Bent at bay.

Big bruv & his son D were at the match and they were pretty chuffed too.

What a fantastic day all round.

(the final laugh-out-loud moment was footage from the BBC showing a young Liverpool fan punching the offending red Liverpool beach ball onto the pitch. Poor kid, not the sort of fame anyone wants. Still, it made me laugh)
