Coraline

D and I took both the kids to see this film today.

It was fantastic and we loved it. D thought it was the most unusual film that he'd seen in a long time- the visuals were stunning and the story was perfect.

We saw it in 3D so watching the flying Scottie dogs was fantastic.

The kids were very impressed when I told them that Tikabelle came up with a pattern for Coraline's gloves and put it online for free (with Neil Gaiman's permission). How amazing is that?

Tikabelle also has a great podcast Gives Good Knit where she discussed literature and knitting.

I've had a great time, so now to put my feet up and knit!
