Kids stuff

We went to East Links family park today with my bro M and his two children A and M.

It was great fun, we spent ages on the go-karts, A impressed us with his trampolining skills ( forward and backward somersaults!! Olympic medallist of the future, perhaps?).

I fell in love with the goats. I know that these animals are used to people and behave more like pets than farm animals but I was entranced by the goats. The visitors are encouraged to get cups of feed for the animals and hand feed them. I could have smuggled one of the kids out in my handbag, they were so lovely.

The baby llama and the baby donkey were massively cute, but it was the nannies and their kids who stole my heart.

I was pretty chuffed that I managed to pedal once round the track on a go-kart, and pedalled some distance on the four-seater bikes, although A and J2 had to help me a bit! Great fun!

I do want a pet goat though....

I can really understand SpinnerErin's love for her goats, they are so fascinating and full of character!
