it's not easy when he can jump as high as this! Kenwyne scores again (huzzah!) and we beat Stoke 2-0 today, taking us to 11th on 30 points and 7 points above the relegation places. (big sigh of relief). It wasn't a pretty match and was full of incident of the wrong sort: serious injuries to Stoke players, penalties not awarded to us and Stoke having a man sent off.
The Toon managed to win for the first time in ages, and other results helped too: Boro were beaten by 2 former Toon players (Given & Bellamy) and Blackburn were beaten by 2-0 Villa (hurray!) and Bolton were beaten by Everton 3-0.
The football tension is getting to me and I cracked yesterday, and then I slurped. I had my first Cadbury's creme egg of the year. Usually I can wait until Easter Sunday, but not this year!
I'm convinced that creme eggs are getting smaller though, this one was scoffed in seconds.
Making progress on my sock, just about finished the cuff. I've realised that instead of knitting 3 rows and then purling 3 rows I've knitted 2 and then purled 2, but I like the effect so I'm sticking with it.
